Buying tickets
How do I get my ticket after paying?
It appears straight away in your account under My tickets, with its own code and a QR image. There is no attachment to download and nothing to print.
Can I buy more than one ticket at a time?
Yes, up to ten in one order. They share a single code, which is scanned once to let your whole group in.
What if an event sells out while I am paying?
We check how many tickets are left at the moment you pay. If they run out first, we tell you before taking any money. You are not charged.
Are fees added at the end?
No. Before you pay we show the ticket price, the 5% fee, and the total. That total is exactly what you are charged.
Can I get a refund?
Each organizer sets their own refund rules, shown on the event page. If the organizer cancels the event, you get the full ticket price back to the card you paid with.
Running events
What does it cost to list an event?
Nothing to list and nothing each month. We take 5% when a ticket sells. Free events cost you nothing.
How many kinds of ticket can I sell?
As many as you need. Each one has its own price, its own limit and its own description, and they sell separately.
Can I edit an event after publishing?
Yes. You can change the details and pictures at any time. You cannot delete a ticket type that has already sold, or set its limit lower than the number sold.
Can I take an event off sale?
Yes, unpublish it. It disappears from search straight away. Tickets already bought still work, and you keep the list of who is coming.
When do I get paid?
After the event has happened. That keeps refunds simple. Large venues and festivals can ask us for a different schedule.
How many pictures can I add?
One main picture plus up to six more. The main picture is the one shown in search and at the top of your event page.
Accounts and data
Do I need an account to look around?
No. You can search and read any event page without signing in. You only need an account to buy a ticket or to sell one.
Can one account both buy and sell?
You choose attendee or organizer when you sign up. Organizer accounts can also buy tickets to other events.
What can organizers see about me?
For their own events only: your name, email, which ticket you bought and how many. They never see your card details or what you do elsewhere on Ticket7.
How do I close my account?
Write to help@ticket7.ng from the address on the account and we will close it for you. We confirm any tickets you still hold first, so nobody loses entry to an event they have already paid for.
